Day 08: Hakim Ouansafi

Executive Director, Hawaii Public Housing Authority

Ouansafi has labored to ensure the safety of his 350 staff members and the 40,000 tenants who are the most vulnerable in Hawai‘i. He has launched a variety of programs for his tenants and staff while working behind the scenes through his nonprofit to deliver thousands of meals and masks to the elderly and poor.
