Weavings
Every life is a rich tapestry—and is certainly so for the heroes in this room. They live and work in the United States today, although their impact may extend well beyond a single place or community to the nation and even the world. They work tirelessly to break the confines of inequity, prejudice, discrimination, and other bonds that hold others back.
To honor these heroes in our midst, I created these photographic weavings to capture their life work. Each weaving is only a window to the rich diversity of their lives and what they stand for.
